VOTE NO ON THE PHASE II DOUBLE TAX TOLL RE-VOTE!

No city in the country has ever shifted its existing highways to tollways. I don’t want Central Texas to be the experiment. Tolling freeways is wrong.

Freeway Tolls permanently take the option of a free expressway away from us, while traditional tollways allow drivers to choose between the freeway or the tollway.

I know about the Texas Comptroller’s investigative report that found “Double Taxation Without Accountability” and “Favoritism And Self-Enrichment”

I agree with Paul Burka from Texas Monthly when he says "Existing highways built with tax dollars ought not to be converted to toll roads; this is double taxation." and "We are headed for the worst public fiasco in my lifetime".

I Know these Elected Officials, as part of CAMPO, voted to toll roads we've already paid for (Phase II Tolls). They also IGNORED 93% of the public feedback that oppose the Double Tax Toll plan: Sen. Kirk Watson, Rep. Mike Krusee, Rep. Mark Strama, Rep. Dawnna Dukes, Mayor Will Wynn, Brewster McCracken, Commissioner Gerald Daugherty, Judge Sam Biscoe, Senator Steve Ogden, Commissioner Frankie Limmer, Senator Dan Gattis and others. I demand that you vote NO on the Phase II Double Tax Toll Re-Vote.

As our representative you have failed to adhere to the simple standard of trust by voting to toll our freeways. We the people have the duty to organize and de-elect all corrupt “Double Taxers”.

Over the coming months, we will work with AustinTollParty.com. We will organize our communities by telling everyone we know in Central Texas about the AustinTollParty.com website, so together we can carry out a VOTER REVOLT in all coming elections.
