So far, so good Friday, June 27, 2008 The Texas Department of Transportation's three Austin toll roads have collectively brought in 35 percent more money over the past nine months than was projected before construction began in 2003, based on figures released Thursday by the Texas Department of Transportation. The picture varies from road to road, however. Loop 1 was 22 percent above projections, while Texas 45 North has made 122 percent more than the estimate. Texas 130, which opened in sections and was only fully completed April 30, is actually 0.7 percent below the original estimate for the nine-month period overall. But it has been above projections for the past three months, including by 16 percent in May. 2008-06-17 14:14:25 Signature No.: 2021 City:Austin State: TX Zip:78720 (This problem is getting so bad that somebody is resorting to hacking/disabling the Texas Toll Party website so that our emails on this subject to our elected representatives are not being acknowledged as being sent...)
